From the prefix trans- + conductance.

transconductance (plural transconductances)

  1. (electronics) The ratio of the change in output current to the change in input voltage across a circuit.
  2. (electronics) The ratio of the change in plate current to the change in grid voltage, with the plate voltage held constant; typically expressed in micromhos or millimhos.
